After you have completed your web
hosting service application you will be sent an Email that
specifies all your VPI-Net Email information. In the
email there are fields for your POP3 user name, POP3 password,
and POP3 server. You will insert these into the
appropriate places in your email program.
Because of the ongoing problem of Email
Spamming VPI-Net has been forced to cancel our SMTP
services. You can still send Email however. In
your Email program you set your outgoing, or SMTP server to
your ISPs SMTP server. You set your Email address to the
address you would like to show up on the Email you send.
We apologize for any inconvenience
this may cause. If you have HTML forms on your Web Site
that Email the form contents then in your Email tool you would
specify the SMTP server as mail.vpi-net.com.
This will only work via HTML forms on your Web Site and not
from links on other sites.
How do I add or change my Email account information?
Comming soon VPI-Net will offer our
customers an intuitive, easy to use web based control
panel. With the control panel you will be able to
add/change/remove Email accounts, domain aliases, and other
account options.
